This years theme is "Country Life" with a traditional village fete, with everything associated. Craft tent, country displays, dog show, sideshows, stalls, children's entertainment etc etc etc

The parade will go through town, if you want to use the theme, feel free and let you imaginations run wild!

Llandovery Motorbike Weekend

TWO DAY EVENT
The Llandovery Motorbike Weekend (6th & 7th July 2019) is about staying in Llandovery with fellow bikers. It is about riding out on some of the routes around the town and discovering places of interest to return to on future trips. There will be Motorbike related training activities and, of course the chance to check out everyone else’s machines. Whether you are an enthusiast or a casual observer, the weekend is about enjoying motorbikes with like-minded people. If you are not a biker the weekend has many other things on offer to occupy your time.
The Big Cwtch

The Big Cwtch is a weekend of good music and fine foods. Over 30 artists will perform on our magical Lakeside and Orchard Stages with impromptu acoustic and campfire sets around the site. We have a brand new Weekend Camping ticket with exclusive Friday Night performances making the Big Cwtch Summer Party the best yet! We are proud to be raising funds for Ski4All Wales, a unique charitable organisation that enables adults with physical, visual and neurological disabilities to experience skiing as part of their rehabilitation programmes.

Llandovery Sheep Festival

2 days of celebrating droving, sheep farming & the wool industry. All weekend (21st & 22nd Sept 2019) the town of Llandovery will be celebrating its farming routes and connection to the drovers trails of old.
Highlights of the weekend include the fantastic sheep race, sheep dog trials & sheep shearing demonstrations amongst other great sheep-related fun. There will be competitions and music throughout.
Urdd Gobaith Cymru

Llandovery will host the National Urdd Eisteddfod in 2021.
The Urdd National Eisteddfod is an annual Welsh-language youth festival of literature, music and performing arts organised by Urdd Gobaith Cymru.
The event, arguably Europe's largest youth festival, will take place in the town from May 31 until June 5 2021.
The Eisteddfod consists of competitive singing, recitation, art, composition, dance and instrumental events for contestants aged between seven and 24 years.
Regional qualifying heats are held in advance around Wales, as occurs for the National Eisteddfod.
